Access data
When you visit this website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data in server log files: IP address, date and time, the page accessed, the amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in the secure and uninterrupted operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR; in German Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO).
The website is hosted on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in its Nuremberg data centre. The server log files are deleted automatically after 15 days at the latest.
Contact by email or telephone
If you email or call me, the details you provide — such as your name, email address, telephone number and your concern — are processed solely to handle your enquiry and are not passed on to third parties. This website itself collects no data in the process: you write and send the email with your own email program.
The mailbox ordination@ortho-eigenschink.at is operated by easyname GmbH, Canettistraße 5/10, 1100 Wien (Vienna). It stores incoming emails as a processor on my behalf (Art. 28 GDPR) and does not use them for its own purposes.
Where your message contains information about your state of health, this constitutes special categories of personal data. The legal basis is your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR) and processing for the purposes of preventive healthcare and treatment (Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR).
Emails are usually transmitted unencrypted. Please therefore do not send medical findings or detailed information about your condition by email. To discuss such matters, please arrange an appointment.
Medical confidentiality
In addition to the provisions of the GDPR, all information that becomes known in the course of treatment is subject to medical confidentiality under § 54 Ärztegesetz 1998 (Austrian Physicians Act 1998).
Fonts
The fonts used are served from this website's own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other third-party server, and your IP address is not transmitted to third parties.
Map and external links
No map is embedded. The contact page contains a link to an external map view (OpenStreetMap); only when you click it do you leave this website, and the privacy terms of the respective provider then apply. The same applies to the link to the practice's Instagram profile.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services. No profiling takes place; consent under § 165 TKG 2021 (Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021) is therefore not required.
Retention period
Enquiries by email are deleted once they have been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise. Treatment records are subject to the retention periods laid down in the Ärztegesetz (Austrian Physicians Act).
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.
